Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in at MGM Grand Detroit. The credit card holder must also be 21 years of age.

Complimentary Valet Parking is available for all hotel guests. Guests may also choose to park in the complimentary Self-Parking Structure. Please note, the parking structure is not connected to the hotel.

A $20 Daily Resort Fee plus applicable tax will be added to your room rate for each complimentary (if applicable) and purchased room night which entitles you to receive the following amenities that are sure to enhance your experience at MGM Grand Detroit: Valet parking, in-room high speed internet, in-room Keurig coffee maker, bottled water, unlimited local, domestic long distance (the 50 United States and DC) and toll-free calls, digital newspaper and magazine downloads through PressReader for duration of reservation, fitness center and pool access for guests 14+ (Adult supervision required for minors), airline boarding pass printing and select business center services. Amenities, such as fitness center access, are subject to availability and guest demand. Daily resort fees will be waived (removed from the bill at check out) for eligible members with Gold+ Tier level status with eligible reservations (subject to eligibility and other terms and conditions available at https: www.mgmresorts.com/en/mgm-rewards/daily-resort-fee-waiver.html.

A security deposit of $100 per stay will be required upon check in. Pre-paid cards are not accepted for room and tax or deposits.

MGM Grand Detroit gladly offers dog friendly rooms. Up to two dogs are allowed with a maximum combined weight of less than 100 pounds. Other pets and animals are strictly prohibited both for registered hotel guests and visitors to the property. A charge per night, per dog, plus tax for the room or suite will be applied to your account. Your dog cannot be left unattended in your guest room at any time unless placed in a kennel or carrier. Due to health code regulations, we regret that dogs, except for service dogs, are not allowed in public areas including, but not limited to: any food and beverage outlets, the Spa, or pool areas, except as passing through. All of our guest rooms and floors are non-smoking. In the event that smoking occurs in your room, a deep cleaning fee of $250 will be charged to your account upon check out. Please note that e-cigs, vapors, hookahs, etc. fall under our non-smoking policy. We do have designated smoking areas throughout our casino.

All of our rooms include the following amenities: Keurig coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Complimentary coffee is also available in the Hotel Living Room 24-hours a day.

Hotel guests will enjoy complimentary access to the Fitness Center & Pool. Access to the spa, pool and fitness center is exclusively for guests age 14 or older, when accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 14 are not permitted.

Use of marijuana (weed), including but not limited to smoking, inhaling, ingesting, or using oils, lotions, or other transdermal introduction of, is prohibited at all MGM Resorts properties notwithstanding approval of recreational use in Nevada. State law prohibits use of marijuana in public places. Use of marijuana is also prohibited in guest rooms at all MGM Resorts properties in Nevada, consistent with the discretion afforded private property owners under the State law authorizing use of recreational marijuana in non-public places. And marijuana use continues to be prohibited at MGM Resorts properties outside Nevada. Notably, the vast majority of our guest rooms are non-smoking and therefore smoking of any substance in those rooms is prohibited. If marijuana in any form is observed, the property will take the necessary steps to ensure compliance with the law and Company policy.

Cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, and nicotine vapors are permitted within smoking areas. Marijuana is not allowed on the property at any time.

Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the facility, but a designated outdoor smoking area is provided just off the casino floor, along with indoor, enclosed smoking parlors, Smoking Slots East (formerly “Clear”) and Smoking Slots West (formerly “Clear II”), for your convenience. Contact a resort employee for location information regarding designated smoking areas.
