MGM GRAND DETROIT ADDS 21+ 3 BLACKJACK TO TABLE GAMING MIX
2/14/2013
MGM Grand Detroit, the city’s premier entertainment, dining and gaming destination, announced the addition 21 +3 Blackjack to its casino floor. A combination of traditional-style Blackjack and Three Card Poker, 21 +3 Blackjack offers players the opportunity to play two of the most popular casino table games at the same time.
In 21+3 Blackjack there are two potential wagers, a traditional blackjack bet and an optional Three Card Poker side bet. The Three Card Poker hand is based on the player’s first two dealt cards and the dealer's up card. All winning Three Card Poker hands, three of a kind, straight, flush, straight flush and suited three of a kind, pay nine-to-one odds. A winning hand on the Three Card bet does not affect the subsequent Blackjack play.
“We are continually looking for new games we believe will excite our guests and offer them a superior time,” said Mike O’Connor, MGM Grand Detroit’s Vice President of Table Games. “Blackjack and Three Card Poker are two extremely popular games on our floor, so combining them is sure to be a hit among our guests.”
MGM Grand Detroit offers more than 20 different games on 90 tables and numerous flat screen HD TV’s on the casino floor, as well as market exclusive “Golden Dice challenge" in the Craps Pit.
