Rules of the Game

All entrants must be 21 years of age or older and must provide valid identification upon request.
All invited guests need to confirm participation prior to / during the registration time.
Registration is open to all invited Players Club Members and Non-Players Club Members.
The tournament start time will be Noon, with registration beginning at 11:00 a.m. or earlier if required.
Slot Tournament schedule is as follows: Participants will participate in one round of the tournament. Each round will consist of a set amount of minutes of playing time. Each participant will play in one round only per day.
There is no fee for the Daily Slot Tournament.
All participants are required to register for the tournament during the registration time on the day of the tournament.
All participants must register prior to the round or risk forfeiture of participating.
The assignment of round times is allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The slot machine seat assignments are assigned randomly per round.
If the tournament is full, the participant who missed their registered time will have forfeited their opportunity to play in the tournament.
Rounds cannot be delayed due to late arrivals.
Participants playing in sessions and rounds do not have to be registered Players Club Members.
The total number of credits accumulated during a participant's round determines a player's score.
Participants will only be allowed to play on one machine and they must play on their assigned machine. If there is a malfunction that cannot be fixed within 3 minutes, participant will be assigned to a reserve machine or will be assigned to an alternate session or round.
Each tournament will take place in a designated slot section on the casino floor.
Each participant who begins a round must complete the round. No substitutions will be allowed while the round is in play.
The tournament will be played on 50 designated machines, with 2 additional machines designated as "reserve" machines. The reserve machines will be used if one of the 50 designated tournament machines malfunctions.
The amount of points/credits the player will begin with is zero. Each spin will accumulate a number of credits depending on the outcome of the spin.
Each slot machine will have its own internal clock.
Pressing the spin button on the player panel activates the clock.
The slot machine will only be active for play for the set amount of time displayed in the paid out meter.
Each participant will have exactly 6 minutes of playing time in each round.
The number of credits registered on the slot machine credit meter indicates the score.
Each participant is required to sign and attest the score sheet at the end of each round attesting to the accuracy of the recorded score.
Once the scores have been verified they will be available for review at the Players Club following the tournament.
In the event of a tie in score between entrants, the prize values of the "place" and the next lower "place" will be added together and then divided to be shared equally.
The Players Club Card will not be valid during tournament play.
Points accumulated during tournament play are not redeemable for cash. All cash prizes are awarded based on highest score.
Tournament machines are completely automatic and have an individual clock that will shut off upon malfunction.

The winner(s) are determined by the player(s) with the highest score(s) overall each day. Participants are limited to one prize per day. The total prize dollar amount for the tournament is $2,000 Cash or $4,000 FREEPLAY. A winner may choose either Cash or FREEPLAY.

An awards list will be forwarded to the Cage listing the winners.
FREEPLAY prizes will be valid for 14 days.
Participants who do not pick up their prize within 14 days of the tournament's conclusion will have the FREEPLAY prize amount loaded onto their account.
By registering, all entrants grant MGM Grand Detroit unconditional consent to be photographed and allow MGM Grand Detroit the use of the photographs for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation.
MGM Grand Detroit reserves the right to cancel or alter this event at any time. The only item that may be altered without previous MGCB approval is the number of participants. The number of participants may be increased or decreased based on demand.
Participants who are 21 years of age or older are eligible to enter except for partners or employees of MGM Grand Detroit, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, retail vendors or members or employees of the Michigan Gaming Control Board or Michigan State Police.
Any disputes that arise during tournament play will be submitted to tournament officials for decision. Patrons may appeal this decision according to MGCB patron dispute process.
Failure to adhere to tournament rules and procedures will result in a participant's disqualification.
All prizes are subject to City, State and Federal taxes and are the sole responsibility of the participant.
All participants agree to abide by all tournament rules.
